Trade Finance
Mr Oral Draman, Executive Director since 2000
Mr
Draman has joined the Bank in 1993. After serving in various
posts in Amsterdam within the Trade Finance team, he headed
GarantiBank International N.V.("GBI") Istanbul Representative
Office in 2000. Mr Draman was appointed as Executive
Director of Trade Finance in late 2000 and currently leads
Trade & Commodity Finance and Global Origination &
Distribution businesses of GBI. Mr Draman is a member of
ALCO and Management Team.
Treasury & Private Banking & Financial Institutions
Mrs Özgen Etker-Simons, Executive Director since 2001
After working for ABN AMRO Bank Istanbul and Amsterdam, Mrs
Etker-Simons joined GBI in 1992. Mrs
Etker-Simons held several managerial positions and in 2001 she was
appointed as Executive Director of Treasury and Private
Banking. In addition to these divisions, Mrs Etker-Simons has also
been appointed as Executive Director of Financial Institutions in
October 2006. Mrs Etker-Simons is a member of ALCO and Management
Team.
Credits
Mr Sertaç Kanan, Executive Director since 2007
Mr Kanan started his career at GBI Istanbul Representative
Office in November 1996. As of 1st January 1998, he joined the
Amsterdam Trade Finance Division. Mr Kanan held several posts
within the Amsterdam office and in 2007 he has been appointed
Executive Director of Credits. Mr Kanan is a member of ALCO and
Management Team.
Operations & ICT
Mr Gürbüz Salman, Executive Director since 2001
Before joining the Bank in May 2001, Gürbüz Salman was Senior
Vice President in charge of Overseas Network Department at
Garanti Bank Turkey in Istanbul and held several positions in
various departments between 1988 and 2001 including Treasury
Operations. Mr Salman is a member of ALCO and Management Team.
Structured Finance
Mr Erhan Zeyneloğlu, Executive Director since 2000
Mr Zeyneloğlu started in Garanti Bank Turkey. In 1995 he joined GBI and
held various managerial posts throughout his career in
Garanti Bank Turkey. Mr Zeyneloğlu was appointed Executive Director
of the Credits Division in 2000 and as of 2007 he is heading the
newly established business line Structured Finance as Executive
Director. Mr Zeyneloğlu is a member of ALCO and Management
Team.
C&IAS
Mr Levent Oztan, Manager since October 2008
Mr Oztan joined the audit department of GarantiBank Turkey in 1998. After working for 7 years as an Internal Auditor, Mr Oztan was transferred in April 2005 to work in the Compliance & Internal Audit Services department of GBI. Since October 2008, Mr Oztan is working as a Manager, Compliance & Internal Audit Services and is a member of the Management Team.
Financial Control & Reporting
Mrs Ivonne Koomen, Manager
since 2000
After working for Ernst & Young
Management Consultants Mrs Koomen joined GBI in 1996. She
started working as an assistant internal auditor and after
one year changed to the area of Financial Control &
Reporting. She is heading the Financial Control & Reporting
department since 1st of December 2006 and is a member of
ALCO and Management Team.
Retail Banking
Mr Okan Küpçü, Manager since 2006
Mr Küpçü started his banking career in Garanti Bank Turkey,
Istanbul in 1997. He has joined GBI in
2002. He held several positions in various departments in
Garanti Bank Turkey - Istanbul, Garanti Bank Turkey - Malta
Branch and GBI-Amsterdam from 1997 to
2006. Since October 2006 Mr Küpçü is appointed as the Manager of
Retail Banking and is a member of the Management Team.
Human Resources
Mrs Mijke van Tilburg, Manager since 2009
Mrs Van Tilburg joined the HR department of GarantiBank International NV in April 2003. She held several HR positions in Dutch companies between 1999 and 2003. As of July 2009 Mrs Van Tilburg is responsible for GBI's Human Resources Division.
Risk Management
dr. Övünc Sisman, Manager since 2006
dr. Sisman has started his career in 1999 as a Strategic Planning Specialist at Ottoman Bank. After working for several positions in Risk Management at Ottoman Bank and GarantiBank Turkey he has joined GBI Credits Division in 2003. He is heading the Risk Management Department since 2006 and is a member of the ALCO and Management Team.
