GarantiBank International NV was one of the first European banks to allocate export factoring funding lines to Turkish factoring companies. During mid 90's we had funded almost half of the Turkish export factoring transactions originated by Turkish factoring firms. Such funding was structured in a self-liquidated manner, with repayment being received directly from prime European factoring firms to the Turkish factoring firms' (borrower) accounts with GarantiBank International NV.

Other funding structures have been in use to fund emerging markets' leasing companies so that such leasing companies provide matched-funding for the leasing of their (imported) machinery and equipment.

Financing (local currency or FX) of the Consumer Finance Firms can also be included into the Non-Bank Financial Institutions activity of GarantiBank International NV.

Our Trade & Commodity Finance Teams not only serve to the traders, manufacturers and the end-users of merchandise but also to those non-bank financial institutions to facilitate international trade.
