Mr. Fahri Birincioğlu, Executive Director since 2001
Mr Birincioğlu joined GBI in January 2001. He started his banking career at Garanti as auditor in 1979. Prior to his appointment as the manager of Garanti Germany Branch in 1997, he served the Bank as the representative since 1983. Since 2001, Mr Birincioğlu is the Executive Director of GBI Germany.

Istanbul Representative Office
Mr. Berat Içinsel, Executive Director since 2005
Mr Icinsel joined Garanti in 1995 and he took up a position at GBI as of 1999. Before being promoted as the general manager at GBI’s former Romania Branch in 2005, he held several posts at the Amsterdam and Istanbul offices of the Bank. As of May 2009, he was appointed as the executive director and the representative of the Istanbul Office.

Ukraine Representative Office
Ms. Oksana Kovtonyuk, Representative since 2007
Ms Kovtonyuk has been appointed as the representative of the Ukraine Office at its inception in 2007. She previously held various senior positions at local banks, lastly as the head of trade finance at AlfaBank Ukraine.
