GarantiBank International NV (GBI) is pleased to present its new logo1
On 24 April 2019, our ultimate shareholder "Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BBVA)" announced2 the launch of its new logo and its decision to unify its brand across its footprint globally as it advances in its efforts to offer BBVA’s customers the best products and services, in an increasingly digital environment.
Consequently, the bank’s new logo representing its brand name "BBVA" is now applicable to all subsidiaries of BBVA Group worldwide, including GBI.
The new identity is a reflection of the values of BBVA, especially ‘We are one team’ concept, which emphasizes the importance of the people working at BBVA and their commitment to the project. The change underscores BBVA’s aim to deploy a unique value proposition and customer experience, as expected by customers from digital companies around the world.
GBI, which had already completed its alignment with BBVA in 2017, will continue to employ digital technologies in its processes for a unique, personable customer experience.
1 The new logo only represents a change to the brand name of GBI. The formal name of GBI, i.e. GarantiBank International NV, will remain unchanged.
